About the Invoice PDF to JSON

JSON is the format a pipeline wants: post it to an API, put it in a document store, hand it to a queue. Converting a PDF invoice into it normally means a paid extraction service and an upload you may not be allowed to make.

This does it in the page. Each PDF is read through its text layer, parsed into an invoice — header, both parties, tax, totals, line items — and written as JSON with real types: numbers as numbers, dates as ISO 8601, currency as an ISO code, missing fields left out rather than sent as empty strings.

A batch comes back as an array, so a folder of PDFs becomes one file. The shape is the same one the rest of this category reads and writes, and there is a JSON Schema for it, so what comes out here can be validated, converted to UBL, or turned back into a printable invoice.
