About Us
ToolQivo is a collection of small, focused utilities that do one job each and get out of the way.
Why this site exists
Most free tool sites make you work for the tool. You land on a page covered in ads, wait for an upload to finish, hit a daily limit, or find that the download is watermarked unless you create an account. The actual task — counting some words, tidying a JSON blob, shrinking a photo — takes five seconds. Everything around it takes minutes.
ToolQivo is the opposite arrangement. Every tool loads instantly, works immediately, and asks nothing of you.
Everything runs in your browser
This is the part that matters most. The text you paste and the images you open are processed by JavaScript running on your own device. They are never uploaded, never written to a server, and never logged. That is not a policy we promise to follow — it is how the tools are built. There is no upload endpoint to misuse.
The practical consequence is that you can safely use these tools on things you would not paste into a random website: an API response containing customer records, a screenshot of an internal dashboard, a contract draft, a config file with a connection string in it.
How the tools are chosen
A tool earns a place here if it is something people genuinely need repeatedly and it can be done well entirely client-side. We would rather ship 1329 tools that work properly than a thousand thin pages that exist to catch search traffic.
What gets built next is decided almost entirely by what people ask for. How each one is then written, checked against known values and corrected when it is wrong is set out in our editorial policy.
How it is built
The site is a Laravel application serving static-feeling pages, with the tools themselves written in plain JavaScript against browser APIs — canvas for images, SubtleCrypto for hashing, Intl for dates. There is no heavy front-end framework, which is why pages load as quickly as they do.
Working this way costs us the features a server could offer, and buys something better: the tools are fast because nothing travels, they keep working when your connection drops, and there is no database of other people's documents sitting somewhere waiting to leak.
Who runs it
ToolQivo is published by ToolQivo. It is a small team of developers who kept needing these tools and kept being annoyed by the versions available, and the same people who build the tools answer the email.
How it stays free
The site is paid for by the advertising shown around the tools — not by a subscription, not by selling data about visitors, and not by holding useful features back for a paid tier. Advertisers have no say in what gets published, and ads are kept out of the working area of every tool. The whole arrangement, including where ads may and may not appear, is written down in our advertising disclosure.
What we will not do
- Ask you to sign up to use a tool.
- Upload what you are working on, in order to process it somewhere else.
- Watermark a result, or cap it, to sell you the uncapped version.
- Publish pages that exist only to catch a search query.
- Dress an advertisement up as a button, a download link or part of a tool.
Get in touch
Found a bug, or need a tool that is not here yet? Those messages are genuinely useful — most of what gets built next comes from them. Write to us at toolqivo@gmail.com or use the contact page. Questions about the site in general are probably answered on the FAQ.
