Invoice in CAD
Bill in Canadian dollars with GST, HST or PST by province.
A company invoice with registration numbers, PO references and bank details.
The Business Invoice Generator produces a B2B invoice that another company’s accounts payable system will accept: PO reference, company registration and tax numbers, full bank details, stated terms, and CSV, JSON or UBL export for the ledger.
A business-to-business invoice has to satisfy somebody else’s accounts payable system, not just your own records. That means a purchase order reference, your company registration number, your tax registration, clear payment terms and bank details in a block a clerk can copy without asking you a question.
This builder starts with all of that in the form. The PO number and a free reference field sit beside the invoice number, the footer carries your registered details, and the payment block takes an account number, IBAN, SWIFT, sort code and routing number so the invoice works domestically and across a border.
For the ledger side, the same invoice exports as CSV for a spreadsheet, JSON for an API, or UBL 2.1 — the XML format behind EN 16931 and Peppol, which is what larger customers and European public bodies increasingly ask suppliers to send instead of a PDF.
The fields an accounts payable system matches on before it will pay.
Registered name, number and tax registration on every page.
Account number, IBAN, SWIFT, sort code and routing number together.
The XML behind EN 16931 and Peppol, for customers who want structured e-invoices.
Enforceable late-payment wording rather than "please pay promptly".
Registered name, address, company number and tax registration. These go in the header and the footer.
Many accounts payable systems reject an invoice without one. Put it in before you send, not after.
Net 30, Net 60 or end-of-month, and the account the money should reach.
CSV or JSON for your own books, UBL for a customer that wants structured e-invoicing.
Large buyers match every invoice to an approved purchase order before paying it. An invoice with no PO, or the wrong one, goes into an exceptions queue and can sit there for weeks.
UBL 2.1 is the XML format behind the European e-invoicing standard EN 16931 and Peppol BIS Billing 3.0. You need it if a customer or a public body asks for structured e-invoices rather than PDFs.
In the UK, EU and many other jurisdictions a limited company must show its registered name, registered office and company number on its business documents, including invoices.
Yes. Pick any of fifty currencies and the symbol, decimal places and digit grouping all follow it. Where local rules require your home-currency tax figure too, add it as a note.
