About the Invoice Generator with Stripe

Stripe Payment Links are the fastest way for a small business to take a card payment against an invoice without building anything: create the link in the Stripe dashboard, paste it on the invoice, and the customer pays with a card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or a local method in a few seconds.

The problem is reconciliation. A generic link produces payments that arrive with nothing tying them to an invoice. Stripe supports adding a client_reference_id to a Payment Link URL, which is stored against the payment and shown in the dashboard — so this builder adds the invoice number to your link automatically, along with the customer’s email so the checkout is prefilled.

The link is validated as a Stripe Payment Link, printed in full on the invoice and clickable in the PDF. Nothing is sent to Stripe from here — the builder never calls their API and needs no key.
