Invoice for goods sold, with SKUs, units, quantities and delivery details.
The Sales Invoice Generator is built for goods: SKU and unit columns, quantities, a separate delivery address and a shipping line, with per-line tax so a mixed basket of zero-rated and standard-rated goods still totals correctly.
A sales invoice records a sale of goods, and unlike a service invoice it has to reconcile with stock. That means item codes, units and quantities on the face of the document, a delivery address when it differs from the billing one, and shipping shown as its own line rather than buried in a price.
This builder starts with the SKU and unit columns on, a separate ship-to block, and a shipping charge line. The CSV export carries every column, so an invoice can be reconciled against a picking list or imported into a stock system without retyping.
Tax is handled properly for a mixed basket: turn on per-line rates and zero-rated goods can sit beside standard-rated ones, with the totals showing one row per rate — which is what a tax return needs and what a single blended rate quietly gets wrong.
On by default, so the invoice reconciles against a picking list.
The ship-to block prints beside the bill-to block.
Taxed or not, according to your local rules.
One totals row per rate, never a blended average.
SKU, quantity, price and tax, ready for a stock system.
One line per product, with the SKU, the unit and the quantity sold.
Fill in the ship-to block when the goods went somewhere other than the billing address.
Zero-rated and standard-rated goods on one invoice need per-line rates, not an average.
Shipping is its own line so it can be taxed, or not, according to your local rules.
The CSV export carries SKU, quantity, price and tax for every line.
An invoice is a request for payment issued when goods are supplied. A receipt confirms that payment was made. A sale paid immediately often produces both, or one document marked "paid".
It depends where you are. In the UK and EU, delivery charged with taxable goods usually follows the rate of those goods. In the US it varies by state. Set the shipping figure and, where it must be taxed, add it as an item line instead so it picks up the rate.
Turn on per-line tax, set each line’s rate, and the totals will show one row per rate with its own taxable base. Never average the rates across the basket.
Yes. The ship-to block prints beside the bill-to block, which matters for cross-border sales where the place of supply follows the delivery address.
