About the Invoice Table Extractor

Not every table on an invoice is the line items. There is the tax breakdown, the timesheet, the delivery schedule, the summary by nominal code — and a spreadsheet is the only sensible place to put any of them.

This finds tables the way the page lays them out: by column positions. Text in a PDF carries an x coordinate, so columns are found where the gaps line up down the page rather than by guessing at separators, which is what makes a description containing two spaces break every other tool.

Every detected table is shown with its column count and row count, and you pick the one you want. Export as CSV, TSV, or a real .xlsx workbook with the header frozen. For scanned invoices the positions come from OCR, which is less exact — the preview shows you before you trust it.
