About the Blank Invoice Template

Sometimes the right tool is a piece of paper. A blank invoice you can print a stack of, fill in by hand on site, and hand over on the spot beats any app when you are up a ladder or in the back of a van.

This produces one with ruled lines, a numbered item grid, and boxes for everything an invoice needs — your details, the customer, a number, dates, terms and a totals block. You can print it entirely empty, or fill in the parts that never change first, which is usually your own details, your bank account and your terms, and leave only the job-specific fields blank.

Choose how many ruled item rows you want, set A4 or US Letter, and download it as a PDF or as a self-contained HTML file that opens and prints on any machine. It costs nothing, needs no account, and the file is yours to keep and reprint forever.

Yes. Nothing requires an invoice to be typed. It must carry the required details — a unique number, both parties, the date, a description and the amount, plus tax details if you are registered — but the medium is irrelevant.
