Web Design Invoice Generator
Invoice a website design project by phase, with revisions and deliverables named.
Turn an invoice into XML — plain and readable, or standards-compliant UBL or CII.
Or drop an invoice file here — PDF, XML, JSON, CSV or an image
Invoice to XML converts an invoice from JSON, CSV, a PDF or text into XML — a plain readable structure for your own integrations, or standards-compliant UBL 2.1 and CII checked against the EN 16931 business rules.
There are two reasons to want an invoice as XML, and they need different files. One is an integration with a system that reads XML, where a plain, obvious structure is easiest to map. The other is e-invoicing, where only a standard will do and the receiver will reject anything else.
This produces both. Plain invoice XML is a readable structure — header, seller, buyer, lines, totals — with element names a person can guess. UBL 2.1 and UN/CEFACT CII are the two syntaxes EN 16931 defines, and they come out with the elements in schema order and the arithmetic redone the way the standard demands.
The source can be almost anything: the JSON these tools export, a CSV, a PDF invoice, pasted text, or an e-invoice in the other syntax. Standard output is checked against the business rules before you download it.

Ask, but the safe assumption in Europe is Peppol BIS Billing 3.0, which is UBL. German public bodies want XRechnung; French and German suppliers often use Factur-X or ZUGFeRD, which is CII.
No. It is for your own integrations, where a standard would be more work than the job needs.
It is checked against the EN 16931 business rules here, which catches the faults that get invoices rejected. For a first live submission, also run it through your access point’s validator.
