The ICS to CSV Converter turns a calendar file into a table of events, with start and end dates and times, location, attendees, recurrence rules and time zones in their own columns.
Calendar files are a transport format, not something to read. When you need to count meetings, bill hours, check a timetable or hand a schedule to someone who works in Excel, an .ics file full of DTSTART;TZID= lines is exactly the wrong shape.
Drop the file here and every VEVENT becomes a row: subject, start date, start time, end date, end time, whether it is an all-day event, its time zone, location, description, organiser, attendees, status, recurrence rule and UID. Folded lines are joined, escaped commas and newlines are restored, and reminders inside an event are ignored so an alarm cannot overwrite the event’s own title. Column names can match Outlook’s import format, which means the CSV can go back into a calendar after you have edited it.

A reminder inside an event cannot overwrite the event’s own title.
The TZID travels in its own column, and UTC times are marked.
Column names that let the CSV be imported back into a calendar.
Full-day entries are flagged rather than given a made-up time.
From Google Calendar, Outlook, Apple Calendar or a booking system.
Plain names, or headers matching Outlook’s calendar import.
Events come out in date order by default.

No. A repeating event is one row with its RRULE in the recurrence column, which is how the file stores it. Expanding a rule with exceptions and end dates would invent data the file does not contain.
Exactly as the calendar stored them, with the zone in its own column. A time ending in Z is UTC; an event with a TZID keeps that zone name.
Yes. They are marked in the all_day column and keep their date with no time, which is how iCalendar records them.
