About the JSON to Markdown Table Converter

READMEs, pull request descriptions, release notes and documentation all run on Markdown tables, and writing one by hand is tedious — especially when the data already exists as JSON and a single unescaped pipe character silently breaks the whole table.

Paste the JSON and get a GitHub-flavoured table. Choose which columns to include and in what alignment — left, centre, right, or right for numbers and left for text automatically — and whether to pad the source so it lines up in a code editor. Pipes inside values are escaped, line breaks become <br>, and values can be wrapped in backticks for code columns. Nested objects flatten into dotted columns so every record stays one row.

Key features of the JSON to Markdown Table Converter

Pick your columns

Pipes escaped

A value containing | is escaped so it cannot split the table.

Columns line up in the raw Markdown, which keeps Git diffs readable.
