JSON to Excel Converter
JSON records into a formatted .xlsx — nested keys flattened, dates typed, filters on.
Hz, kHz, MHz, GHz, rpm, rad/s and BPM — plus period and wavelength.
The Frequency Converter converts between hertz and its SI multiples, rpm, revolutions per second, radians per second, degrees per second and beats per minute, and reports the period, angular frequency and wavelength.
Frequency is simply how often something repeats, but it is quoted very differently depending on what is repeating. Radio and electronics use hertz with SI prefixes, motors and turntables use revolutions per minute, control engineering uses radians per second and music uses beats per minute.
Enter a value and its unit to get any other unit, with a full table beneath. The converter also reports the period of one cycle, the angular frequency, and the wavelength a wave at that frequency would have in a vacuum, which is the figure radio and optics people usually want next.
rpm and rad/s convert directly to hertz, so a motor speed and a signal frequency can be compared.
The time for one cycle is shown in the most readable unit, from seconds down to picoseconds.
The electromagnetic wavelength is calculated from the speed of light, useful for antennas and optics.
Twelve units cover everything from slow sensor cycles to terahertz radiation.
Wi-Fi bands, mains frequency and tempo conversions are one click away.
Type the value — 50, 2.4, 1500 — in whatever unit you have.
Select the source and target units, or use a preset such as 50 Hz to rpm.
The time for one cycle and the wavelength in a vacuum are shown under the result.
Every unit is listed; click any value to copy it.
Divide by 60. A motor turning at 1,500 rpm completes 25 revolutions per second, which is 25 Hz.
Hertz counts full cycles per second; radians per second measures the angle swept. One cycle is 2π radians, so 1 Hz is about 6.2832 rad/s.
Wavelength equals the speed of light, 299,792,458 m/s, divided by the frequency. A 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi signal has a wavelength of about 12.5 cm.
Numerically yes — both count events per minute, so both divide by 60 to give hertz. BPM is used for heart rate and tempo, rpm for rotation.
