About the JSON to Excel Converter

An API gives you JSON; the person who asked for the data wants a spreadsheet. The gap between those two is where an afternoon disappears, especially when the records are nested and the columns have to be worked out by hand.

Paste the JSON — an array of records, or an envelope such as { "data": [ … ] } — and it becomes a formatted worksheet. Nested objects flatten into dotted columns such as supplier.name, lists of simple values are joined, and anything deeper can be kept as JSON text in the cell. ISO dates become real Excel dates that sort and filter properly, the header row is frozen with an autofilter, and column widths follow the content. When the JSON holds several arrays, each one can become its own sheet. Everything is built in the browser, so nothing is uploaded.
