Multi-Currency Invoice Generator
One invoice, two currencies: bill in theirs and report in yours.
A self-contained HTML invoice you can edit, style and print — or put in your own app.
One self-contained HTML file with the CSS inside it. It opens and prints correctly on any machine with nothing to go missing, and the awkward parts are already solved — a totals block that will not split across a page break, columns that disappear when empty, and a stamp that overlays without moving anything.
The HTML Invoice Template downloads one self-contained file with inline CSS and working print styles — the awkward parts already solved, from a totals block that will not split across a page break to columns that disappear when empty.
If you are building billing into something, the fastest start is a working invoice page you can read: one file, inline CSS, no framework, print styles that actually produce an A4 page, and a layout that has already dealt with the awkward parts — a totals block that does not split across a page break, columns that disappear when empty, and a stamp that overlays without moving anything.
That is what this downloads. It is the same document the preview shows, with the styles inside it, so it opens and prints correctly on any machine with no dependencies. Swap the content for your own template variables and you have an invoice view.
For non-developers it is just as useful: an HTML file opens in any browser, prints properly, can be edited in any text editor, and will still open in twenty years — which is more than can be said for most proprietary template formats.
Opens and prints correctly on any machine, forever.
A page rule, proper margins, and no browser furniture in the output.
A long item list flows on and the totals block stays whole.
Each with different structure, not just a different colour.
Swap the content for your own variables and it is an invoice view.
Everything you set becomes part of the downloaded markup.
Seven layouts, each with different structure and print behaviour.
One self-contained file with the CSS inside it.
Swap the content for your own variables, or just fill it in by hand.
The print styles produce a real A4 or Letter page with proper margins.
Inside the file, in a style block. That is what makes it self-contained: one file that opens and prints correctly anywhere, with nothing to go missing.
Yes. It is plain HTML and CSS with no licence restriction from us. Replace the content with your own template variables and render it server-side or client-side however you like.
A page rule sets the paper size and margins, the screen-only shadow and background are removed for print, and the totals block is kept whole so it never splits across a page break.
Word opens HTML and keeps the table reasonably well, but the layout is approximate. For a Word document, use the Word invoice template, which writes a real .docx.
