The Invoice PDF Splitter breaks a multi-invoice PDF into separate files — per page, in groups, by ranges, or wherever a new invoice number begins — naming each part after the invoice it contains.
A batch print or a supplier statement arrives as one PDF containing forty invoices, and every one of them needs to be a separate file before it can be filed, matched or sent on.
Drop the PDF and choose how to split it: one file per page, fixed groups of pages, page ranges you type, or — the one that saves the afternoon — wherever a new invoice begins. That last mode reads the text of each page, finds where an invoice number or an invoice heading appears, and starts a new file there, so a three-page invoice stays in one piece.
Each part is named after the invoice number it contains where one can be found, which is what makes the output usable without renaming forty files by hand. Download them one by one or all at once. Nothing is uploaded.

It reads each page and looks for an invoice number or an invoice heading. A page that carries a new number starts a new file; continuation pages stay with the invoice they belong to.
A scan has no text layer, so splitting by invoice cannot see anything. Split by page or by ranges, or read it first with the Invoice OCR tool.
