About the Invoice Data Cleaner
Exported invoice data is dirty in predictable ways: trailing spaces that make two identical supplier names different, non-breaking spaces from a copied web page, dates in three formats in one column, amounts with currency symbols, the same invoice twice, and a supplier written four ways.
Paste or drop the data and choose what to fix. Whitespace is trimmed and invisible characters removed. Dates are recognised in whatever order they were written and rewritten in one. Amounts lose their symbols and separators. Supplier names are tidied for case and legal suffixes, and near-identical ones are grouped so you can see that Acme Ltd and ACME LIMITED are the same customer.
Every single change is listed, row by row, with the before and after — because a cleaner that silently rewrites financial data is a cleaner nobody should trust. Nothing is uploaded.
