The Image URL Extractor finds every image reference in HTML — img elements, srcset candidates, picture sources, inline CSS backgrounds and Open Graph meta images — with alt text, dimensions and loading attributes, flagging the two faults that matter most.
Auditing the images on a page means answering three questions: what images are there, do they have alt text, and are they loading efficiently. All three are in the markup and all three are tedious to check by reading it.
This extracts every image reference — img elements, srcset candidates, picture sources, CSS background images and Open Graph meta images — with its alt text, declared dimensions and loading attribute. Images with missing or empty alt text are flagged, since that is both an accessibility failure and a lost SEO signal, and images with no width and height are flagged too because those are what cause layout shift as a page loads.
Both an accessibility failure and a lost SEO signal, and invisible until someone checks.
An explicitly empty alt is correct for a decorative image; a missing attribute is not, and the two are told apart.
Because that is what causes the layout shift Core Web Vitals measures.
srcset, picture sources, inline CSS backgrounds and Open Graph tags, not just img src.
So you can see which images are lazy-loaded and which are blocking the first paint.
Page source, a template or a fragment of markup.
Source, alt text, dimensions and loading attribute for every image found.
Missing alt text and missing dimensions are both marked.
Just the addresses, or the full table as CSV.
Screen reader users get nothing at all from an image without it, and search engines get no idea what the image shows. It is both an accessibility failure and a wasted signal.
Every meaningful image. A purely decorative image should have an explicitly empty alt attribute, which tells a screen reader to skip it — that is different from having no alt attribute at all, and the tool distinguishes them.
Because the browser cannot reserve space for an image whose size it does not know, so the page jumps as images load. That is Cumulative Layout Shift, which is a Core Web Vitals metric.
Yes, in inline style attributes and in style blocks. It cannot see images referenced from an external stylesheet, since that file is not in the markup you pasted.
