About the CSV to vCard Converter

You have a list of people in a spreadsheet — from a form, a CRM export, an event sign-up — and you want them in a phone. Phones do not import CSV. They import vCard, and writing one by hand for two hundred people is not a job anyone should do.

Paste the CSV and the columns are matched to vCard fields automatically, however your headers are spelled: "E-mail", "Cell Phone", "Zip" and "Organization" are all recognised. Anything it guesses wrong you can change with the pickers, so a file from any source works. The output is standard vCard 3.0 — the version with the widest support — or 4.0, with commas and semicolons escaped and long lines folded exactly as the specification requires, ready to import into iPhone Contacts, Android, Outlook or Google Contacts.

Key features of the CSV to vCard Converter

Columns matched for you

"E-mail", "Cell Phone" and "Zip" are recognised whatever the spelling.

Fix any guess

A picker for every vCard field, so an unusual export still works.

Two versions

vCard 3.0 for the widest support, or 4.0 for the newest standard.

Correct escaping

Commas and semicolons are escaped and long lines folded at 75 characters.

Skipped rows reported

A row with no name, company or email is counted rather than silently dropped.
