About the 24-Hour to 12-Hour Converter

A train timetable, a flight itinerary, a server log or a rota from abroad gives times on the 24-hour clock, while plenty of readers — and a lot of American and South Asian forms — expect AM and PM. Working out that 17:45 is 5:45 PM is simple; doing it for forty entries without a slip is not.

Paste one time, a list, or any text, and every 24-hour time is converted to the 12-hour clock: full lines such as 18:30 or 1830 hours, and times inside sentences such as "arrival 21:35". Choose the AM and PM style — PM, pm, p.m. or P.M. — whether hours get a leading zero, and how seconds are handled. 00:00 becomes 12:00 AM and 12:00 becomes 12:00 PM, and a reference chart for the whole day is included.
