About the Simple Invoice Generator
Most invoice tools make you fill in twenty fields to bill somebody for one thing. This one is stripped back to the fields an invoice genuinely needs: who is billing, who is being billed, what for, how much, and by when.
Tax, discounts, shipping, branding and bank details are all still there if you turn the panels on, but nothing is switched on to start with. The result is a clean single-page invoice you can print or save as a PDF in well under a minute — which is the right shape for a one-off job, a private sale, a deposit, or the first invoice you have ever sent.
It still counts as a proper invoice: it carries a unique number, both parties, a date, an itemised description and a total, which is the minimum most tax authorities require of a document you can put through your books.
