Bulk UTM Builder
Tag hundreds of links at once and export them as a spreadsheet.
Paste a page and get every meta tag audited in one report.
The Meta Tag Analyzer takes a page's HTML and audits every tag that describes it: title, description, canonical, robots, viewport, charset, language, the Open Graph set, the Twitter card set and the icons. Each is measured and marked, missing tags are listed with the markup to add, and nothing is fetched — so staging and password-protected pages work.
Paste the HTML of a page — the head alone is enough — and every tag that describes it is pulled out and checked: title, description, canonical, robots, viewport, charset, language, the Open Graph set, the Twitter card set and the icons. Each is measured, and what is missing is listed alongside what is there.
The checks are the ones that actually change something. A title measured in pixels rather than characters. A canonical that is relative, or that points at a different host. A robots tag that says noindex on a page you meant to rank. Two title tags, which happens more often than anyone admits and leaves Google to pick. A missing viewport, which affects how mobile results render. Because nothing is fetched, this works on a staging build, a page behind a login, or a template you are still writing.
Title, description, canonical, robots, viewport, charset, language, Open Graph, Twitter and icons.
Two title tags or two canonicals leaves Google to choose. Both are found and reported.
Lengths are given in pixels and characters against the real SERP limits.
Anything absent is listed with the markup to paste, rather than as a bare complaint.
No fetch means staging, local builds and pages behind a login all analyse fine.
View source on the page and copy it, or copy just the head element — either is enough.
The tags are parsed out in your browser. Nothing is sent anywhere, so staging pages are fine.
Each tag is shown with its value, its measured length and a pass, warning or fail.
Missing tags are listed with the markup to add, so you can copy the fix straight out.
Because a browser cannot fetch another site's page without that site allowing it, and building a server that could would mean sending your URLs to us. Pasting the source keeps everything on your machine and works on pages a fetcher could not reach anyway.
Title, meta description, canonical, robots, viewport and charset do real work. Open Graph and Twitter tags control how links look when shared. Meta keywords, meta author and meta revisit-after do nothing for Google and have not for years.
Google picks one, usually the first, and you have lost control over which. It is a common result of a template setting a default title and a plugin adding another. This tool flags duplicates for exactly that reason.
One page at a time, because it works on markup you paste rather than crawling. For a whole site, run a crawler to produce an export and then use the title and description checkers here on the resulting lists.
