Turn a curl command into working fetch, axios, Python, PHP, Go or Ruby.
The curl to Code Converter parses a curl command with a real shell tokeniser and emits working code in seven targets, listing anything it could not represent rather than dropping it silently.
Every API documentation page gives you a curl command. This turns one into the language you are actually writing in: JavaScript with fetch or axios, Python with requests, PHP with cURL or Guzzle, Go with net/http, or Ruby with Net::HTTP.
The parsing is a real shell tokeniser rather than a set of regular expressions, so quoted values containing spaces, escaped quotes, and line continuations in bash, cmd or PowerShell all survive. Method, headers, JSON and form bodies, basic auth, multipart fields, -G query conversion and the common flags are all read. Anything it cannot represent is listed rather than dropped silently — including --insecure, which is deliberately not reproduced.
Quoted values with spaces, escaped quotes and line continuations in bash, cmd and PowerShell all survive parsing.
fetch, axios, Python requests, PHP cURL, Guzzle, Go net/http and Ruby Net::HTTP — plus a tidied version of the curl command itself.
A JSON body becomes a native literal, with Python getting True, False and None rather than the JSON spellings.
Flags with no equivalent are listed as ignored, so you know what the generated code does not do.
Method, URL, headers and body are displayed as read, so a misparse is visible before you run anything.
Straight from the documentation or your terminal history, line continuations and all.
Seven targets, plus a tidied version of the curl command itself.
The parsed method, URL, headers and body are shown so you can confirm nothing was misread.
Ready to paste, with the body already formatted for the language.
-X, -H, -d and its variants, -F, -u, -b, -A, -e, -G, -L, -I, --compressed and the common quiet flags. Anything else is listed as ignored rather than silently dropped.
Because a native object reads far better than an escaped string. If the body parses as JSON it becomes a literal in the target language, with Python getting True, False and None rather than the JSON spellings.
Yes. Caret continuations from cmd and backtick continuations from PowerShell are both recognised, alongside the backslash form bash uses.
Because disabling certificate verification in application code is far more dangerous than doing it once in a terminal. The flag is reported as ignored and the reason given.
