The Toggle Case Converter is Word's Shift+F3 shortcut for everywhere else. Press toggle and the text advances one step through lowercase, Sentence case, Title Case and UPPERCASE. All four are also shown at once, so you can jump straight to the one you want.
In Microsoft Word, Shift+F3 cycles the selected text through uppercase, lowercase and capitalised — you press it until the text looks right. This tool is that shortcut for anywhere else: a browser text field, a CMS, a code editor or a chat box, none of which have the shortcut.
Press the toggle button and the text advances one step through the cycle: lowercase, then Sentence case, then Title Case, then UPPERCASE, then back to the start. Every step is applied to the text as it currently stands, so you can keep pressing until you get there without losing anything. All four formats are also shown at once, so you can skip straight to the one you want.
Press until it looks right, exactly the way the toggle-case shortcut works in a word processor.
Skip the cycling and copy the format you actually wanted straight from its own panel.
The four panels always work from what you typed, so repeated toggling never degrades them.
Line breaks survive and sentence case treats each line as a fresh start, which is what a list needs.
Each panel has its own copy button, so nothing has to be re-selected by hand.
Any text at all — a word, a heading or a paragraph.
Each press moves the text one step through lowercase, Sentence case, Title Case and UPPERCASE.
All four versions are shown together, so you can copy the one you want without cycling.
Copy the current version, or any of the four shown below it.
In Microsoft Word and several other editors, Shift+F3 cycles the selected text through lowercase, Sentence case and UPPERCASE. This tool does the same thing in the browser, with Title Case added to the cycle.
Only in the way you would expect: converting to uppercase and back to lowercase loses the original capitals, because that information is genuinely gone. The four preview panels always work from your original input, so the safest route is to copy from one of those.
lowercase, then Sentence case, then Title Case, then UPPERCASE, then back to lowercase. It matches Word's order with the extra title-case step inserted.
Yes. Every line is converted, and line breaks are preserved. Sentence case treats each line as starting a new sentence, which is what you want for a list.
