The corners come out transparent, so the download is a PNG

Quick Tool Overview

Rounded Corner Image bakes the radius into the file, which is what email clients, PDFs, slide decks and print layouts need since none of them run CSS. The corners are genuinely transparent in the PNG, each corner can take its own radius, and an optional border follows the rounded outline rather than the original rectangle.

About the Rounded Corner Image

CSS can round a corner at display time, but plenty of places cannot: email clients, PDFs, slide decks, print layouts and any context where the image travels on its own. Baking the radius into the file solves all of them at once.

The corners come out genuinely transparent, which is why the download is a PNG — saving as JPEG would fill them with a colour and produce visible corner triangles on any background but that one. Each corner can take its own radius for the asymmetric shapes that chat bubbles and card layouts use, and an optional border follows the rounded outline rather than the original rectangle.

Key features of the Rounded Corner Image

Real transparency

The corners are cut from the alpha channel, so the image sits cleanly on any background rather than carrying a white triangle.

Per-corner radius

Unlock the corners and set all four independently, which is how chat bubbles and asymmetric cards are shaped.

Percentage or pixels

A percentage keeps a set of differently sized images consistent; pixels match an exact spec.

Border follows the curve

The optional outline traces the rounded shape rather than the original rectangle.

Anti-aliased edge

The curve is drawn smoothly, so it holds up at any size instead of showing steps.
