About the App Icon Generator

Shipping an app means producing the icon at somewhere around twenty different sizes, each with a name the toolchain expects, and getting one wrong means a build warning or a blurry icon on somebody's home screen.

One source image produces the whole set here, correctly named for each platform: the full iOS range from 20 up to the 1024-pixel App Store icon, the Android mipmap densities, the adaptive icon layers, and the PWA sizes. Every size is rendered from the original rather than downscaled from one render. iOS icons are flattened onto a background because transparency is rejected there, and the Android adaptive icon gets its safe zone.
