Turn a topic into dozens of workable title options.
Turn a list of URLs into a search-engine-ready sitemap.xml.
Upload to the root of your site, submit it in Search Console, and add Sitemap: …/sitemap.xml to your robots.txt.
The XML Sitemap Generator turns a list of URLs into a valid sitemap.xml in the sitemaps.org format, ready to submit to Search Console or Bing Webmaster Tools. It does not crawl your site, which is deliberate — nothing is fetched and nothing is uploaded.
Paste your URLs one per line and get a valid sitemap in the sitemaps.org format, ready to download and submit to Search Console or Bing Webmaster Tools. You control the lastmod date, the change frequency and the priority, and there is an option to derive priority from URL depth so your home page outranks a page four folders down.
This generator does not crawl your site, which is deliberate: nothing is fetched and nothing is uploaded. That makes it right for the case where you already have the list, from a CMS export, a spreadsheet or a crawl you ran elsewhere, and just need clean XML. Invalid and duplicate lines are flagged, URLs are escaped properly so ampersands in query strings do not break the file, and the 50,000 URL limit per sitemap is checked for you.
Set lastmod, changefreq and priority yourself instead of accepting whatever a crawler guessed.
An option weights your home page above a page four folders down, without editing every entry by hand.
Bad URLs are caught before they reach the file rather than after Search Console rejects it.
Ampersands in query strings are escaped properly, which is the usual reason a hand-built sitemap fails validation.
The per-sitemap cap is enforced for you, so you know when to split into an index.
One absolute URL per line, including https. Duplicates and malformed lines are flagged rather than silently dropped.
Choose a lastmod date, a change frequency and a priority, or let priority be derived from how deep each URL sits.
Copy the XML or download sitemap.xml, then upload it to the root of your site.
Submit the sitemap in Search Console and add a Sitemap line to your robots.txt so other crawlers find it.
Up to 50,000 URLs and 50MB uncompressed. Beyond that, split the list into several sitemaps and list them in a sitemap index file.
Google has said it ignores both. Some other crawlers still read them and they cost nothing to include, but do not expect them to change how often Google returns.
Only canonical, indexable pages that return a 200. Leave out redirects, noindex pages, paginated duplicates and anything blocked in robots.txt, because a sitemap full of URLs that should not be indexed dilutes its value.
No. It formats the list you paste, entirely in your browser. Nothing is requested from your site and nothing is sent anywhere.
