LESS to CSS Converter
Compile LESS to plain CSS with the real compiler — variables, mixins and nesting.
DMS to decimal degrees and back — plus UTM, in bulk, with map links.
The Coordinates Converter reads latitude and longitude in any written form — decimal degrees, degrees and minutes, degrees-minutes-seconds — and converts a whole list to the format you need, including UTM.
Coordinates are written four different ways and every tool wants a different one. A deed says 23°48'37"N, a GPS shows 23 48.618, a mapping API wants 23.8103, and a surveyor works in UTM. Converting by hand means dividing by 60 twice and keeping track of which hemisphere you are in.
Paste a list — one pair per line, in any of those forms, with the hemisphere before or after and any mix of degree symbols, primes and plain spaces — and get them all in the format you need: decimal degrees, degrees with decimal minutes, degrees-minutes-seconds, or a UTM grid reference on WGS 84 with the Norway and Svalbard zone exceptions applied. A pair written longitude-first is put the right way round, values outside the valid range are reported rather than accepted, and the first coordinate is shown in every format at once with links to open it in Google Maps, OpenStreetMap or Bing.
Symbols, primes or plain spaces, hemisphere letters before or after.
Decimal degrees, decimal minutes, DMS, or a UTM grid reference.
A longitude-first pair is recognised and swapped.
The first coordinate is shown in all of them, ready to copy.
One click opens the point in Google Maps, OpenStreetMap or Bing.
One pair per line, in any written form.
Decimal degrees, decimal minutes, DMS or UTM.
Five decimal places is about a metre.
Every line converts in place, and the first point links to a map.
Degrees plus minutes divided by 60 plus seconds divided by 3600, made negative for south or west. So 23°48'37"N is 23 + 48/60 + 37/3600 = 23.8103.
Five is about a metre, which is finer than a phone GPS can resolve. Six is about ten centimetres, and seven is survey-grade.
Latitude is always written first here. A pair given the other way round — with E or W first — is recognised and swapped for you.
A metre-based grid dividing the world into 60 zones, used by surveyors, the military and much GIS software. It covers 80°S to 84°N; the poles use UPS instead.
