The XML to CSV Converter finds the repeating record element in a feed or export — <item>, <row>, <Transaction> — and turns those records into spreadsheet rows, attributes included.
Bank statements, government data, product feeds and legacy system exports still arrive as XML, and the person who needs them wants rows and columns. The hard part is not the parsing — it is deciding which element is a record when the document is nested five levels deep.
This finds the repeating element for you: the tag that occurs most often under a single parent, whether that is <item> in an RSS feed, <row> in a database export or <Transaction> in a statement. Every other repeating element is listed so you can choose a different one. Child elements become columns, nested tags become dotted columns such as supplier.name, and attributes come through prefixed with @ — or as plain columns, or left out altogether. Add a BOM and the CSV opens cleanly in Excel with accents intact.
The most repeated element becomes the row; every candidate is listed to override it.
Keep them with an @ prefix, as plain columns, or leave them out.

By default they become columns prefixed with @ — @id, @currency — which keeps them distinct from child elements of the same name. You can also write them as plain columns or leave them out.
Yes. <item> or <entry> is detected as the record, giving one row per article with title, link and date as columns.
They become dotted columns such as supplier.address.city. Repeated child values inside one record are joined with a semicolon so the record stays a single row.
