Invoice Split Payment Calculator
Split one invoice across several payers, evenly or by share, without losing a penny.
Bill in francs with 8.1% VAT, five-rappen rounding and QR-bill details.
The CHF builder sets VAT at 8.1% with the Swiss reduced and special rates, rounds totals to the nearest five rappen and prints the adjustment as its own line, and carries the QR-IBAN and structured reference a QR-bill payment reconciles on.
Switzerland has the lowest VAT rate in Europe — 8.1% standard since January 2024, with 2.6% on food, books and medicines and 3.8% on accommodation. A registered business shows a VAT number in the form CHE-123.456.789 MWST, and the abbreviation changes with the language: MWST in German, TVA in French, IVA in Italian.
Two mechanical details matter. The one-rappen and two-rappen coins are long gone, so cash totals are rounded to the nearest five rappen and the adjustment is conventionally shown as its own line — which this builder does. And since October 2022 the Swiss payment slip has been the QR-bill: a single A4 sheet with a payment part carrying a Swiss QR code and a QR-IBAN.
A QR-bill is a specific layout with its own perforation and field positions, so a general invoice template cannot be one. What this produces is a correct Swiss invoice with the QR-IBAN, the reference and the amount, which is what most B2B customers actually pay from.

Eight point one per cent standard since 1 January 2024, with a reduced rate of 2.6% on food, non-alcoholic drinks, books, newspapers and medicines, and a special rate of 3.8% on accommodation.
The one and two rappen coins were withdrawn, so cash payments round to the nearest five. The convention is to show the rounding difference as its own line rather than altering the item prices.
The Swiss payment slip introduced in 2020 and mandatory since October 2022. It is an A4 sheet whose lower portion carries a Swiss QR code encoding the creditor, the QR-IBAN, the amount and a structured reference, replacing the old orange and red payment slips.
A special IBAN used with a structured creditor reference, so an incoming payment reconciles automatically against the invoice. It looks like an ordinary IBAN but uses a reserved institution identifier.
