The Invoice Table Extractor finds tables in an invoice PDF by the column positions of the text on the page, lists each one it finds, and exports the one you pick as CSV, TSV or a real Excel workbook.
Not every table on an invoice is the line items. There is the tax breakdown, the timesheet, the delivery schedule, the summary by nominal code — and a spreadsheet is the only sensible place to put any of them.
This finds tables the way the page lays them out: by column positions. Text in a PDF carries an x coordinate, so columns are found where the gaps line up down the page rather than by guessing at separators, which is what makes a description containing two spaces break every other tool.
Every detected table is shown with its column count and row count, and you pick the one you want. Export as CSV, TSV, or a real .xlsx workbook with the header frozen. For scanned invoices the positions come from OCR, which is less exact — the preview shows you before you trust it.

By the horizontal positions of the text. Where the same gaps appear on line after line, that is a column boundary — the same way your eye does it.
Because the column positions change partway down, usually where a section heading or a total row interrupts it. Each block is offered separately.
Yes, through OCR, but the positions are approximate and wide tables suffer. A PDF with a text layer is far more reliable.
