Invoice GST Number Validator
Check GSTINs on Indian invoices: state, PAN and the check character, in bulk.
Validate invoice JSON: syntax errors located, fields and types checked, and the totals recomputed.
Or drop a JSON file here
The Invoice JSON Validator locates JSON syntax errors to the line and column, recognises the invoice shape and checks its fields and types against a schema, then recomputes every line and total and compares them with what the JSON states.
Invoice JSON fails in three ways, and a normal JSON validator only catches the first. It can be broken JSON — a trailing comma, a single quote, a missing bracket. It can be well-formed but the wrong shape — a quantity sent as the string "2", a date as 18/09/2026, a missing currency. Or it can be perfect JSON whose numbers do not add up, which is the failure that costs money.
This checks all three. Syntax errors are located to the line and column, with what went wrong in plain words and the text around it. The shape is recognised — the category’s own export, a raw invoice document, a Stripe invoice object, or generic JSON with the usual field names — and checked against the invoice JSON Schema where it applies, reporting every field by its path.
Then the arithmetic is redone: each line’s quantity times price, less discount, plus tax, and the subtotal, tax, total and balance due, compared with what the JSON states. The formatted JSON is given back to copy. Nothing is uploaded.

Because "10" + "5" is "105" in JavaScript and many other languages, not 15. Amounts and quantities should be JSON numbers.
