Bill in riyals with 15% VAT, a VAT number, Arabic text and a ZATCA QR.
The SAR builder covers what a Saudi tax invoice needs — 15% VAT, both VAT numbers, Arabic alongside English and a QR code carrying the seller, VAT number, timestamp, total and tax — and is honest about where ZATCA clearance takes over.
Saudi Arabia has the strictest invoicing regime of any market in this list. VAT is 15%, and since the introduction of the Fatoora e-invoicing programme a tax invoice must be issued electronically, must carry Arabic as well as any other language, and must include a QR code encoding the seller’s name, VAT number, timestamp, total and VAT amount in a defined TLV structure.
That QR requirement is why a generic invoice template is not enough for a Saudi supply. This builder produces a compliant-looking document with all the required fields and a QR code, but the integration phase of Fatoora requires invoices to be cleared or reported through ZATCA’s own platform, and no browser tool can do that for you — nor should it, since it would mean sending your invoices to a third party.
Payment is by local transfer to a 24-character IBAN beginning SA, and terms are conventionally short.

Arabic cannot be omitted from a Saudi tax invoice.

Fifteen per cent as standard, raised from five per cent in July 2020. Exports, international transport and certain medicines and metals are zero-rated, and some financial and residential supplies are exempt.
A QR code required on Saudi tax invoices encoding, in a defined tag-length-value structure, the seller’s name, the VAT registration number, the invoice timestamp, the total including VAT and the VAT amount. Simplified invoices must carry it in every phase.
Arabic is mandatory. The invoice may be bilingual, but Arabic cannot be omitted, and where a translation conflicts the Arabic governs.
It produces the document and the QR code, but the integration phase of Fatoora requires invoices to be cleared or reported through ZATCA’s own platform using a certified solution. No browser tool can do that, and one that claimed to would be uploading your invoices somewhere.
