Text to Slug
Turn a headline into a clean, lowercase URL slug.
Repeat any text as many times as you need, with your own separator.
The Text Repeater produces any number of copies of a word, line or block, with the separator of your choice between them. Copies can be numbered, and a {n} placeholder anywhere in your text is replaced with the copy number — which generates sequential test data in one step.
Repeating text by hand stops being reasonable at about the fifth copy. This does it in one step, whether you need a word five times, a line of test data a thousand times, or a block of markup repeated to fill a layout.
The separator between copies is yours to choose: a space, a comma, a line break, a blank line or anything you type. Copies can be numbered, which turns the repeater into a quick generator for sequential test data — "Item 1", "Item 2" and so on. A placeholder can be replaced with the copy number anywhere in the text, so the number does not have to sit at the start. The output size is shown as you go, since it is easy to ask for more than you meant.
Space, comma, line break, blank line or your own text between the copies.
Put {n} anywhere and it becomes the copy number, so "user{n}@example.com" generates a whole test set.
A block with its own line breaks is treated as one unit, so the separator goes between copies rather than lines.
Characters and lines are counted as you change the settings, since it is easy to ask for more than you meant.
Enough for real test data, capped so the page stays responsive in your browser.
A word, a line or a whole block including line breaks.
Any number up to ten thousand. The output size is shown so you can see what you are generating.
A space, comma, line break, blank line or your own text between copies.
Number each copy, or put {n} in your text and it is replaced with the copy number.
Up to ten thousand copies. The limit exists because the output is held in your browser, and a very large result will slow the page down before it slows anything else.
Yes. Switch on numbering for a simple prefix, or put {n} anywhere in your text and it is replaced by the copy number — which lets you generate "user1@example.com" through "user500@example.com" in one step.
A line break for one record per line, which is what most import tools expect. A comma with no line break gives a single delimited row instead.
Yes. The whole block including its internal line breaks is treated as one unit, and the separator goes between the copies rather than between the lines.
