Graphic Design Invoice Generator
Bill design work with concepts, revisions, artwork and usage rights itemised.
A block of cells and formulas to paste straight into a blank Google Sheet.
Copy the block, open a new Google Sheet, click cell A1 and paste. Sheets splits the tabs into columns and keeps the formulas live — the references are relative to A1, so pasting lower down will point the sums at the wrong rows.
The Google Sheets Invoice Template gives you a tab-separated block with live formulas to paste into cell A1 of a blank sheet — three seconds rather than a download, an upload and a conversion — with the .xlsx there too if you would rather import.
Google Sheets imports an .xlsx perfectly, so a Sheets template does not really need to be another file. What it needs to be is a block you can paste into a blank sheet with the formulas already pointing at the right cells — which is what this produces.
Copy it, click A1 in a new sheet, paste, and you have an invoice with working formulas: each line total is quantity times price less discount, the subtotal sums the range, and the tax and grand total follow. Sheets recognises the tabs as columns and the leading equals signs as formulas, so nothing has to be retyped.
The .xlsx download is here too, for when you would rather open a file than paste a block — File, Import, Upload, and Sheets converts it with the formulas intact. Everything is generated in your browser, and no part of your invoice is sent to Google or to anyone else by this page.
Sheets splits the tabs into columns and keeps the formulas live.
Line totals, subtotal, tax and grand total.
File, Import, Upload — everything comes across.
So Sheets never reads a currency symbol as text.
The block is generated here; you paste it yourself.
Lines, quantities, prices, discount and tax rate.
One button. The columns are tab-separated and the formulas are live.
In a new, blank Google Sheet. Sheets splits the tabs into columns automatically.
Select them and choose the currency format you want.
File, Import, Upload — formulas and formats come across.
Because Sheets already imports .xlsx, so a separate Sheets file adds nothing. A paste block skips the download, the upload and the conversion entirely — it is three seconds rather than thirty.
Yes, as long as you paste into cell A1 of a blank sheet. The references are relative to that position, so pasting lower down shifts them and the sums will point at the wrong rows.
Select the price and amount columns and use Format, Number, Currency, then pick the currency. The paste block carries plain numbers so that Sheets does not interpret a symbol as text.
You can, but send a PDF instead. A shared spreadsheet invites editing, shows your formulas and your revision history, and is not a document either side can rely on later.
